Naming Day Ceremonies
Naming Day Ceremonies are a lovely chance to formally introduce your child to your circle of family and friends, and wish them love and happiness for their future. Godparents or mentors can be appointed and certificates will be given to these “special” people as a memento of their commitment to your child and family.
After close consultation with you, Leanne will recommend a format which will suit your needs and suggest ideas for your ceremony. Leanne has a range of sample ceremonies, readings and ideas for special rituals which include the well known rituals such as candle ceremonies, water blessings, and oil blessings as well as the more unique rose petal blessings, ribbon or ball ceremonies and angel or bear elemental blessings to name a few.
There are no legal requirements or restrictions for a naming ceremony and they remain as unique as each little soul.
