About Leanne
Leanne was raised on the North Coast of NSW and moved to Brisbane to undertake university studies. Upon completion of her Bachelor of Education at Griffith University Leanne worked as a primary school teacher until the birth of her eldest child. During her year of maternity leave Leanne studied to be a celebrant and then returned to teaching part time—celebrating naming ceremonies while awaiting her Marriage Celebrant registration from the Attorney General’s Department.
Leanne received registration as an Authorised Marriage Celebrant in 2005 and has been celebrating weddings and other ceremonies since this time. Leanne believes each ceremony is special and loves working with couples and their families.
Leanne is passionate about being a high quality celebrant and understands the excitement of being a bride and mother. Leanne is a proud member of two professional celebrant bodies: the Professional Celebrant’s Association Inc. and Alliance of Celebrants Queensland Inc., and is also a Justice of the Peace for Queensland (qualified).
Leanne makes meaningful connections with her clients and it is this rapport which alleviates any apprehension which her clients may feel on the day and allows their ceremony to flow smoothly with confidence.
